The Marine series is a trilogy of an active-duty Marine, and as a Veteran of the United States military. The theme of the series is to explore the transformation of the USA from the perspective of jl house, a writer, father, son, brother, friend and citizen of America and the World.

An individual's life is the end result of choices made in the past, whether those choices were made by their own volition, or the ones made for them by other people, the outcome is a life. How one manages through the tough times denotes one's character. It's a choice; it always is.
